This week I wanted to write a blog post that was a bit more personal than usual so I decided today's post will be the “Get to Know Me" 40 Questions tag. I wanted to relate to my readers on a deeper level and see what we all have in common! I hope this help you get to know me a bit more. Let me know in the comments below if you would like for me to do more blog posts like this.
I decided to make a series on my blog called Blogger of The Month. Each month I will pick out one blogger around the country and ask them a variety of questions to get to know them better. More on a personal note than what you see on social media. This Blogger of The Month is Alexis! I was able to chat with the blog owner of XOXO A and was able to ask her a few questions listed below.
This past weekend my friends and I traveled to Montreal, Canada for our summer trip. It was about a 6 and a half hour drive to Canada. We were singing, laughing and relaxing the whole car ride. Once we got to our house for the weekend we changed and went to the nearest rooftop bar. We needed some drinks after that long drive up. After hanging out and exploring the town we decided to go back to the house to relax for the next day. The following few days we traveled to Mount Royal Chaut, it was a bit of a walk but at the top there was such a beautiful view of the town. We had breakfast at Eggspectation I ordered the bagel breakfast sandwich with a side of potatoes. My meal was so filling and truly hit the spot. They had so many great items on their menu it was so hard to decided what to eat. I wish they had a location in CT I would go there everyday.
If you're looking for waterside dining go check out Harbor Lights in Norwalk CT. I loved their patio, fresh seafood and atmosphere. I was happy that I was able to go on a sunny day to enjoy the outside area. The dining room is very spacious with big beautiful windows to look out into the water. Once I sat down I ordered a strawberry grapefruit margarita and my friend had the mojito, they were both great drinks. They have a variety of seafood on their menu which is awesome. I decided to go with the fish and chips since I had that in a long time.
